Very sad. He had a great career ahead of him and injected much needed character into the series

I would agree wholeheartedly, without a doubt they are all extremely talented, if not gifted riders in MotoGP, but the “characters’” have gone.

The Barry Sheens and the James Hunt of motor sport are missing in today’s MotoGP.

I’m sure you saw “when playboys ruled the world” I think Marco had the makings of injecting that charisma.

Sadly we’ll never know :(

I may be old and cynical. I have seen many talented riders, including friends, killed on the trck but I must say that the weekend sad events affected me.

I have posted my condolences and feelings on several different forums

He died doing what he loved and I also feel for Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi who were caught up in the incident and have both lost a friend
